Our approach to training.
Alchemy's training is known for its ability to entertain while educating. Courses leverage the unique interactive nature of the SISTEM™ group-based training platform, but are also available as e-learning modules for self-paced training needs. Each course leverages a unique approach to training by following a proven learning pedagogy that includes:
- An introductory video.
- A set of Competencies.
- Assessment questions.
- Remediation loops.
- An outro video.

Intro video: What not to do.
A course begins with a one or two minute introductory video whereby trainees are shown the consequences of making a mistake. The hostess welcomes the students to the lesson and describes the problem. Then, a real-world scenario in which the workers handle the situation ineffectively is shown. The purpose of the video is twofold:
- Introduce the material in an entertaining way
- Demonstrate the consequences of a mistake to enforce the purpose of learning the material
Later, at the end of the lesson, another video is shown in which the same workers handle the situation properly and enjoy the results.

Competencies.
Having watched the video and warmed up with some discussion questions, it's time to learn the material. The competency-based lessons use photographs, graphics, and audio to convey the information. A colorful, graphics-rich presentation is used to illustrate example situations and show the benefits and consequences of the choices that are made.
Custom content can be tailored to suit industry, company or state-specific training requirements.

Assessments.
After each competency is presented, the trainees answer a set of multiple-choice questions. This is repeated for each set of competencies and comprise the course test.
Each set of questions includes a remediation loop. Should any trainee select the wrong answer of the multiple-choice question, the competencies are repeated and new set of multiple-choice questions are presented. The remediation loop reinforces the material and helps insure retention of the information.

The Gameshow.
Gameshows are a proven method of engaging learners and supporting the retention of the information. Alchemy incorporates a "Lightening Round" gameshow into all our courses to encourage interaction among participants.

Outro video: Lesson learned.
A second 'outro' video concludes the lesson. The hostess recaps what has been learned, and the original scenario from the Introductory Video is revisited. This time, however, the characters apply what they've learned to the scenario and everything turns out okay. The outro video's purpose is to:
- Finish the lesson by demonstrating how the situation should be handled properly.
- The benefits of applying what is learned.
